6 - My All-Time Favorite Band

What's your favorite band? Do you like rock music? Because I do. Wait, no. I love 'em. I've loved music since the third-grade. I remember when I used to be a huge Paramore fan. It was the first ever band that I liked. I used to like the old Hayley Williams. I don't know why, but I don't like them that much anymore. But enough with the past. Let's talk about my current favorite band. Actually, I like several rock bands: My Chemical Romance, Sleeping with Sirens, Mayday Parade, Blink-182, Green Day, 5 Seconds of Summer, We Are The In Crowd, The Summer Set, Fall Out Boy, and many, many more, but   my all-time fave band is none other than All Time Low . Have you ever heard of them? I'm sure most of you know the band, All Time Low . Well, let me share some background of the band. All Time Low is a pop-punk band that originated in Baltimore, Maryland. It formed in 2003. The band consists of four members: Alex Gaskarth, the vocalist and rhythm guitarist; Jack

5 - My "Real Dream"

I am adventurous and curious I wonder what it's like outside the world I hear nothing I see big balls of gases  I want to see the outside world I am adventurous and curious I pretend to fly up to space I feel like I'm floating in space I touch the moon's craters I fear that I won't make it I cry because it might be impossible I am adventurous and curious I understand that everyone makes failures I say "Sometimes you gotta fall before you fly" I dream to achieve all my goals I try to do my best I hope that my dreams won't be just dreams I am adventurous and curious  (My poem from Expository Writing) Let me ask you something: Do you really want your course/job? Was it really your choice or your parents'? Well, mine was my choice. When I was still in 3rd year, I still don't know what course I'd take.  But I was like, meh I still got 1 year to decide, so whatever. But then, 4th year came. I

4 - Baguio (Day 2)

The next day, we woke up kind of late. We were supposed to wake up at 5 AM but ended up sleeping in 'til 7 AM. Our first destination was Mines View Park . It took so long to get there because of the heavy traffic. Well, it was kind of expected because it's summer and hot, so that means more tourists. When we got there, the first thing that caught my attention was the taho vendor. The strawberry taho is a must-try. I had three cups of it because it was so delicious. One cup costs P20 compared to the 10-peso taho in Manila. But it's understandable because it has strawberries and we were in Baguio.   The gates to the Mines View Park  Inside Mines View Park, you'll see different kinds of plants. I even saw a Good Luck Money Tree . I need that tree. I should've bought it. Hahaha kidding. But really though...   We just took some photos of the place and of course, selfies. How could I even forget? Hahaha! We also had a picture taken with a

3 - Baguio (1st Night)

Last May 23, 2015, we went to Baguio City. We left the house at 9AM and we got there at around 3-4PM. And right when we got to Baguio, it started raining. Hard. What a bummer! We were supposed to go to some places but rain happened... So we just checked-in at the hotel and wait 'til the rain stopped. I think the rain stopped at around 7-ish, I'm not sure. So, we went to 50s Diner, which was recommended by my sister. Oh, and thank God for GPS because we don't know where to go. 50s Diner was packed when we got there so, we had to wait for a few minutes.   The diner was very cool. It looks like your typical vintage diner with its chessboard tiles, neon lights, the vintage pictures on the wall (Marilyn Monroe, The Beatles, etc.). They sell big burgers, just like in Zark's, big sandwiches, etc. Their milkshakes were also very yummy. Oh, and there's this car that's parked outside the diner, which was very cool, by the way. It reminded me of Grand Theft Auto.

2 - Island Hopping (Part 2)

The next morning, we (my cousins and I) went to the seashore to take a stroll. As we were walking, we came across an old friend who just got back from the sea from fishing. And that old friend happens to own a motor boat. So we decided to hire the boat and go to Tres Reyes Islands: Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltazar Islands. We were supposed to visit the three islands but we don't have much time left because we were supposed to leave at 12nn and it was around 8 AM when we decided to go on a trip. Our parents didn't even want us to go because for one: it was time to pack up and go home and two; it's dangerous because the waves there are big and there are sharks. But us, being stubborn kids , we still went on. We almost didn't fit in the boat. But we managed to "balance" it. In the middle of the boat ride, we found out that there was a hole on the boat. Good thing, it's not that big. Whew! Tres Reyes Islands (L-R: Melchor, Gaspar, Baltazar Island) Mel

1 - Island Hopping (Part 1)

Last summer, we went to Marinduque for a reunion. The reunion was held last May 1, 2015. But we (my cousins and I) weren't really excited for the family reunion. Don't get me wrong. I was also excited for the reunion but not that excited. ✌ Our parents knew that we had some other plans. We were planning to visit the 3 islands in Sta. Cruz, Marinduque. I thought that we won't go anymore because the reunion ended quite late, so everyone was tired. But not me. Well, maybe I was a bit tired... But I was really excited to go island hopping. Luckily, they're still up for it. So the next morning, we traveled to Sta. Cruz Port because that's where we're supposed to ride a boat to the islands. I was kind of annoyed when we got there because the trip to the port already took 2 hours and now they're taking too long to get us on a boat. We went to 3 islands in Sta. Cruz: Mongpong Island, Maniwaya Island, and Palad Sandbar. Mongpong Island   The first isl
